May 3, 2013: COOL!!! The coming week, my debut album with Thomas Lina, “Songs That Tell A Story,” will be in the NEW RELEASE RACK of The Alternate Root!!! Danny, the Communications & Editorial Content Director @ The Alternate Root (“Soundtrack for the Cultural Armageddon”..), wrote a review of the album and chose “Nashville”, “Pilgrimage” and “This Time” to be available on the music player. March 30, 2013: I will be performing at NACHTCULTUUR 2013 in Woerden! A night with singer-songwriters, jazz, rock, DJs, poetry, stand-up comedians and more (see the program). See the Aftermovie.

March 4, 2013: “Photograph”, “Crazy” and “Nashville” are on the playlist of Greenheart Country by Hans van Dam (previously editor and publisher of Country Gazette), a country music show that will air the coming days at Radio Rijnwoude, Vlistam Radio, ROB FM and Alphenstad FM!!

Feb. 15, 2013: live interview about my debut album at Country Stew / Radio Compagnie, a radio show presented by Martin van der Laan, featuring country, cajun, tex mex, blues, bluegrass, americana and folk.. Martin had found out about my album via my dear friend Nancy Dutra, a Canadian singer-songwriter whom I had pointed to airplay opportunities in the Netherlands.. this Friday 5-7 pm (interview starts after 6 pm).

Feb. 9, 2013: I will be performing at the open mic night in the Realiteitstheater, Woerden (organized by Theaterhuis Van De Dromer Producties).

Jan. 25, 2013: “Nashville”, the song about traveling to Music City and meeting Guy Clark, is on the playlist of Radio Compagnie / Country Stew presented by DJ Martin van der Laan. Next song on the playlist is “Dublin Blues” by Guy Clark… the first song by Mr. Clark that I ever heard… Friday evening, 5-7 pm, re-run Monday and Tuesday 5-7 pm.

Sept. 14, 2012: Bart van der Pol, radio DJ at Country Festival (RTV Katwijk), will play This Time (I’m Listening to My Heart)!! This song is a co-write with Darden Pierce from Oklahoma City, OK. Darden is “a member of the Woody Guthrie, three chords and the truth school of songwriting” — I’ve learned so much from working with him. Friday evening, 9:00-11:00 pm. The show can be streamed at Country Festival (click on “Missed Broadcast”) during two weeks.

June 30, 2012: Country & Omstreken, the country music radio show by Wim Kerkhof — one of the Amazing Stroopwafels — at RTV Rijnmond, will play my song Photograph! Other artists this hour include Merle Haggard, Guy Clark, Emmylou Harris and Willie Nelson.. I think I will print out the playlist and frame it.. The show is available as an iTunes podcast.

June 30, 2012: I will be a guest in radio show Podium 107.1 by Maarten Verduijn at RPL FM, on the occasion of the album release of “Songs That Tell A Story”! There will be an interview, and I will be playing 3 songs live in the studio. Time: 5:00-6:00 pm.
